The test clamp jaw is made of multi-layer copper sheets welded together, and its wider and thicker jaw design allows for high current passage in a short time, with good contact and strong overload capacity. 4. The current insulating operating rod is connected with plug-in bolts, and to prevent seizing between aluminum alloy joints, a stainless steel sleeve is added for more reliable and safe connection. After connection, the entire operating rod fits better with smaller gaps, and during testing, there is minimal sway, making operation safer. 5. This product can be used for testing in high-voltage environments up to 500KV, with test heights ranging from 3m to 8m, and can be arbitrarily extended by adding plug-in sections to the insulating operating rod. The GF-1168 (5m) multifunctional high-altitude wire clamp's insulating operating rod has passed the high-voltage 500KV/AC test at Shanghai Cable Research Institute and has obtained the verification report.
