  The filter paper of the oil filter machine, also known as filter paper, is the consumable material of the plate and frame pressure oil filter, the core part of the plate and frame pressure oil filter, and the most critical part of purifying oil. The number of layers of filter paper determines the filtration accuracy of the plate and frame pressure oil filter, which is the most fundamental effect of intercepting impurities. Generally, when the impurity particles attached to the filter paper of the oil filter are too many, it must be replaced, otherwise excessive pressure will cause the filter paper to rupture and lose its filtering function.



 Filter paper is a consumable material that needs to be replaced frequently. So how often should the filter paper be replaced during oil filtration? Dingneng Oil Filter Company provides a professional answer:



1. Firstly, it depends on the amount of impurities in the oil. During the filtration process, you can regularly observe the condition of impurities adsorbed on the filter paper and check the flow rate of oil at the inlet and outlet. If the flow becomes slower and slower, it indicates that more impurities are being adsorbed, and timely replacement is needed.



If the impurities in the oil are powdery, the replacement frequency will be higher, because powdery impurities can more easily reduce the speed of oil passing through the filter paper due to the pressure of the oil filter, intercepting more impurities, and the filter paper overloads more frequently. Conversely, the fewer impurities, the lower the replacement frequency. Therefore, the replacement frequency of filter paper is related to the amount of impurities in the waste oil.



The working pressure of the plate and frame pressure oil filter is ≤0.5MPa. When the pressure reaches this value, the filter paper should be replaced.



The filter medium between the filter plates and frames of the plate oil filter generally has two materials: one is filter paper, and the other is filter cloth. The pressure of the pressing device fixes the filter plates and frames to form a separate filtration chamber, and the filter paper or filter cloth pressed between the filter plates and frames plays a filtering role.
