Air Drying Generator is widely applicable for providing dry air required during the maintenance of large power equipment such as transformers and reactors. The supplied dry air ensures that the internal insulation of power equipment is not affected by moisture, and maintenance personnel will not suffocate due to lack of oxygen when working inside the equipment. It is safer, more reliable, economical, and convenient than using bottled gas. Using an air drying generator for equipment maintenance is not affected by changes in external weather conditions, especially for overnight operations. Simply seal all flanges and fill with dry air at 0.02~0.03Mpa, and transformers and reactors without oil injection will not be affected by moisture. This reduces the daily workload of oil extraction and injection, achieving the effect of shortening maintenance periods and improving maintenance quality.
Points to note when using the Air Drying Generator:
1. After shutting down, open the valve at the bottom of the air storage tank to drain the air and water vapor inside, then close the valve.
2. Open the V5 valve to completely discharge the gas inside the dryer. After discharging, the V5 valve must be closed, otherwise the adsorbent is prone to moisture absorption, affecting the next use.
3. After long-distance transportation, please tighten the electrical components before use.
4. When it is necessary to connect the inflation pipeline with the transformer, the dew point temperature can be set to 80 degrees. At this time, the gas will bypass. After connecting the pipeline, open the valve at the transformer end, then adjust the dew point to the required dew point temperature.
5. The normal operating pressure of the equipment is greater than 7-8MPA. Below 7MPA, the dew point may not reach the normal value.
6. During transportation, the red fixing device inside the compressor must be tightened. During equipment operation, the red fixing device must be loosened, otherwise it may easily cause compressor damage.
