The series resonance composed of the reactor L and the test object capacitance C has a fixed resonant frequency F=1/(2π√L·C). When the test frequency equals this frequency,, the circuit resonates. Based on this principle, the frequency conversion power supply provides power to the excitation transformer, which transforms it to a medium voltage and applies it to L and the test object capacitance C. By changing the output frequency of the frequency conversion power supply, the circuit is brought into a series resonance state, and then the output voltage of the frequency conversion power supply is adjusted so that the voltage on the test object reaches the required value.

Frequency conversion power supply → It can change both its output frequency and its output voltage.
Excitation transformer → It plays the role of coupling signal and voltage transformation, and raises the voltage according to its own transformation ratio.
Reactor → It is connected in series with the test object to form an LC series resonant circuit.
Capacitive voltage divider → It measures the voltage on the test object and feeds it back to the frequency conversion power supply as a sampling signal.
Compensation capacitor → It compensates for the small capacitance of the test object and adjusts the frequency of the test object.
