Removal of Water
Free water and dissolved water in oil degrade the oil by reducing lubricity, causing oxidation and forming acids. Oil without water is not easily oxidized or forms organic acids even when exposed to high temperatures. The presence of organic acid compounds leads to corrosion. Water accelerates the thermal degradation of oil, generating particles or carbonaceous substances. The presence of water also causes oil polymerization, forming large molecules. Polymerization results in viscosity changes, generating harmful solids that clog orifices and cause wear on system components. The DZJA multi-function vacuum oil filter can remove 100% of free water and more than 75% of dissolved water. In insulating oil, this water removal can prevent electrical issues caused by the bridging effect of charged particles.
Removal of Air
DZJA multi-function vacuum oil filter can remove 100% of free (entrained) air and up to 75% of dissolved air. Air is removed when the oil passes through the vacuum tower. Other gases can be reduced to trace amounts, depending on the circulation time.
Removal of Solid Particles
To remove suspended particulate matter, the DZJA multi-function vacuum oil filter uses three-stage filtration to remove particles that cause mechanical wear in bearings, pumps, and valves. It can also remove sludge that may accumulate in the clearances between valve spools and sleeves, causing sticking and instability in electro-hydraulic servo valves.

This oil filter can be widely used for oil regeneration and purification in power systems, including turbine oil, transformer oil, phosphatidic acid anti-fuel oil, as well as in metallurgy, petrochemical, machinery, aviation, and other industries.
