Plate and frame pressure oil filter is an ideal equipment for pre-filtration before vacuum oil purifier and turbine oil purifier. For oils without lubricity such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, etc., this machine consists of filter bed, oil pump, motor, and coarse filter. Between the filter plates and frames, filter paper or filter cloth is used as the filtering medium. The filter plates and frames are fixed by the pressure of the manual screw pressing device to form individual filter chambers, and the filter paper or cloth pressed between them performs the filtering function. It has the advantages of simple structure, convenient and quick filter paper replacement, easy operation, and low operating cost.
Working Principle
During filtration, dirty oil is distributed to each filter frame through the input channel, impurities are filtered onto the filter plates through the filter elements, and then collected in the output channel and discharged outside the machine. The dirt remains on the surface of the filter paper, and small water droplets in the emulsified oil are absorbed by the capillaries in the filter paper, forming larger droplets that flow to the bottom of the filter bed and are drained from the drain valve at any time. When the filter residue on the filter paper surface gradually thickens and the moisture content in the filter paper increases, the filtration resistance increases. When it increases to a certain extent (generally 0.3-0.5 MPa), filtration should be stopped, and after replacing the filter paper, continue to use.
