Product Introduction of GYC Gas-Insulated High-Voltage Test Transformer
The gas-insulated AC test transformer is an essential test equipment for power equipment detection and preventive testing. With the development of China's power industry, the voltage level requirements for test transformers are getting higher and higher, while traditional oil-immersed test transformers are increasingly unable to meet the requirements of on-site work in terms of volume, weight, and performance.
With the progress of basic scientific research in China and the application of new materials and new processes, the new medium sulfur hexafluoride gas has been pushed into the application field of power equipment. Due to the excellent insulation performance, arc extinguishing performance, and non-flammability of sulfur hexafluoride gas, it has been widely used as a new insulating medium.
After years of efforts, our company has successfully developed the gas-insulated AC test transformer. Compared with traditional oil-immersed light test transformers, this series of products is 20%-60% lighter in weight (depending on voltage and capacity level), and has no oil pollution. The voltage level of a single gas-insulated AC test transformer can reach 300KV. Due to the adoption of new production processes, the technical performance of the product has been greatly improved, especially suitable for on-site work and frequent mobile working conditions.
Product Features of GYC Gas-Insulated High-Voltage Test Transformer

Selection of Test Transformer:
The rated voltage on the high-voltage side should not be less than the maximum test voltage of the test object, and the rated current should not be less than the maximum capacitive current of the test object.
The calculation formula for the capacitive current of the test object and the required capacity of the test transformer is:
I = 2π f Cx U × 10 -6
U I = 2π f Cx U 2 × 10 -9
Where I — capacitive current of the test object, A; f — power frequency, Hz;
Cx — capacitance of the test object, μF; U — effective value of test voltage, V;
Se — required rated capacity of the test transformer, KVA
The capacitance Cx of the test object can be measured by an AC bridge. The capacitance of common test objects is selected according to the table below.
