l、The 2X vacuum pump is one of the basic equipment for extracting gases. It can be used alone or connected with booster pumps, diffusion pumps, molecular pumps and other ultra-high vacuum pumps as a backing pump. It is widely used in electronic device manufacturing, vacuum drying, filtration, impregnation, coating, welding, smelting, and laboratory equipment.
2. The 2X vacuum pump can operate continuously for a long time within the ambient temperature range of 5°C to 40°C, under the condition that the inlet pressure is less than 10 Torr. When the relative humidity of the pumped gas is greater than 90%, the gas ballast valve should be opened.
3. The inlet of the 2X vacuum pump must not be continuously exposed to the atmosphere for more than 3 minutes.
4. The 2X vacuum pump is not suitable for pumping gases that are corrosive to metals, chemically react with pump oil, contain particulate dust, or are highly oxygenated, explosive, or toxic.
Operating Instructions
1. Check the oil level. The oil level should be at the center of the oil sight glass. If the oil level is too low, the exhaust valve cannot be sealed, affecting the vacuum degree; if too high, it may cause oil spray during startup. Before operation, remove the V-belt, correct the motor rotation direction, then start to avoid oil spray. During operation, a slight rise in oil level is normal. When the oil quantity is insufficient, use No. 1 vacuum pump oil and add it through the oil filler hole. The oil must be filtered to prevent debris from entering and blocking the oil hole.
2. If a solenoid valve is installed at the pump inlet of the 2X vacuum pump, it should operate simultaneously with the pump.
3. When starting the 2X vacuum pump, first press the start button once or twice to allow the oil in the pump chamber to return to the oil tank, then start formal operation.
4. When the ambient temperature is high, the oil temperature rises, viscosity decreases, and saturated vapor pressure increases, which may cause a decrease in ultimate vacuum. Ventilation and heat dissipation should be enhanced.
5. To check the ultimate vacuum of the pump, use a compression mercury vacuum gauge. The vacuum gauge should be directly connected to the pump inlet. The ultimate vacuum will be reached within 30 minutes of operation.
6. Before stopping the 2X vacuum pump, close the valve at the suction port to isolate it from the vacuum system, then stop the pump.
7. For pumps with a gas ballast valve, if the pumped gas contains a large amount of condensable vapor, open the gas ballast valve.
