Operating Conditions:
Clean, thin, non-flammable and non-explosive liquids without solid particles or fibers;
Liquid temperature between -20°C and +100°C;
Maximum ambient temperature +40°C;
Maximum altitude 1000 meters;
Maximum system pressure 10 bar.
Motor:
The motor is a fully enclosed, air-cooled, two-pole standard motor;
Protection class: IP55;
Insulation class: F;
Standard voltage: 50Hz 1×220V
3×380V
Curve Conditions:
The following notes apply to the curves shown below:
1. Curve tolerances conform to ISO9906, Annex A;
2. All curves are based on measurements taken with a voltage of 3×380V and motor speed at a constant 2900rpm or 2950rpm;
3. The test medium is clean water at a temperature of 20°C, free of any solid impurities.
4. The pump should not be operated below the minimum flow rate specified in the curves or above the maximum flow rate specified in the curves;
5. If the viscosity or density of the pumped liquid differs from water, the motor power must be adjusted.
Minimum Inlet Pressure - NPSH:
If the pressure in the pump falls below the vapor pressure of the liquid being pumped, cavitation may occur. To avoid cavitation, ensure a minimum pressure on the suction side of the pump. The maximum suction lift H [m] can be calculated using the following formula:
H = pb×10.2 - NPSH - Hf - Hv - Hs
Pb - Atmospheric pressure (bar)
In a closed piping system, this can be considered as the system pressure (bar)
NPSH - Net Positive Suction Head (meters)
It can be read from the NPSH curve in the performance curves at the maximum flow rate.
Hf - Piping friction loss at the inlet (meters)
This is the value corresponding to the maximum possible flow rate in the piping.
Hv - Vapor pressure of the liquid (meters)
Its value depends on the liquid temperature and the vapor pressure of the liquid.
Hs - Safety margin (meters)
Minimum 0.5 meters head
Generally, if "H" is positive, the pump can operate at a maximum suction lift of "H"; if "H" is negative, the pump requires a minimum inlet pressure head of "H" meters to operate normally.
Note: The above calculation is not normally performed. Only calculate "H" when using the pump under the following conditions:
1. Liquid temperature is high
2. Liquid flow rate exceeds the rated value
3. Suction lift is large or inlet piping is long
4. System pressure is too low
5. Inlet conditions are poor
