3. Working Principle and Structure Description:
This pump adopts a pump body structure with axial liquid return. The pump body consists of a suction chamber, a liquid storage chamber, a volute chamber, a liquid return hole, and a gas-liquid separation chamber. After the pump starts normally, the impeller draws in the liquid stored in the suction chamber and the air in the suction pipeline together, and they are completely mixed in the impeller. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid carries gas to the outer edge of the volute chamber, forming a white foam belt of a certain thickness and a high-speed rotating liquid ring on the outer edge of the impeller. The gas-liquid mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through the diffuser tube. At this time, due to the sudden decrease in flow rate, the lighter gas is separated from the mixed gas-liquid, and the gas continues to rise and discharge through the pump outlet. The degassed liquid returns to the liquid storage chamber and enters the impeller again through the return hole, mixing again with the gas sucked from the suction pipeline inside the impeller, and under the action of the high-speed rotating impeller, flows to the outer edge of the impeller again. As this process repeats, the air in the suction pipeline gradually decreases until all gas is exhausted, completing the self-priming process, and the pump then operates normally.
Some pump bearing housings are also equipped with a cooling chamber at the bottom. When the bearing temperature rises above 70℃ due to bearing heating, cooling liquid can be injected through any cooling liquid pipe joint at the cooling chamber for circulating cooling. The sealing mechanism inside the pump to prevent liquid leakage from the high-pressure zone to the low-pressure zone is the front and rear sealing rings. The front sealing ring is on the pump body, and the rear sealing ring is installed on the bearing housing. When the sealing rings wear to a certain extent after long-term operation and affect the pump efficiency and self-priming performance, they should be replaced.
