Management and Use of Safety Protection Equipment for Sulfur Hexafluoride Gas
1. Operators handling sulfur hexafluoride gas should be equipped with safety protection equipment, including dedicated protective clothing, gas masks, oxygen respirators, gloves, protective goggles, and protective grease. The safety protection equipment must comply with relevant national regulations.
2. Safety protection equipment should be stored in a clean, dry, and cool dedicated cabinet, with a designated person in charge of custody and regular inspections to ensure it is always ready for use.
3. Personnel who use oxygen respirators and gas masks must undergo a physical examination first, especially checking heart and lung function; those with abnormal function cannot use the above equipment.
4. When workers wear oxygen respirators and gas masks for work, there must be a dedicated supervisor on site to monitor, in case of accidents.
Sulfur hexafluoride gas organizational management and labor health care
1. Establish a dedicated responsibility post for sulfur hexafluoride safety protection, and each equipment operation, maintenance, and testing department should have a designated person responsible for safety protection.
2. All types of safety monitoring instruments should be regularly calibrated and adjusted, and always be in good condition.
3. Personnel engaged in sulfur hexafluoride gas maintenance, operation, testing, and supervision should have a physical examination 1-2 times per year, with special requirements for the examination items (such as blood count, respiratory system, skin, etc.), and health records should be established.
